Ahmednasir Proposes Nyanza Leader That Should Become Ruto's Deputy In 2027

There has been a lot of mixed reactions after the acting ODM party Leader Senator Oburu Odinga made claims that the ODM party and the people of Luo Nyanza will only agree to be on President Ruto's negotiation table if he chooses a leader from Luo Nyanza as his deputy.

The statement by Senator Oburu Odinga has been met with a lot of mixed reactions from the general public, and also a section of leaders.

Among those that reacted to the statement by the ODM party leader Oburu Odinga is vocal city Lawyer, Ahmednasir Abdullahi.

Speaking through his official X page, the SC has argued that a combination between President William Ruto, and a leader from Luo Nyanza would be very historical.

The SC has even stated that it would be the first time Kenya has a deputy President from Luo Nyanza since the days of Oginga Odinga.

"That will be historic and richly deserving. Imagine it will be the first time since 1966 that Kenya will have a Deputy President from Luo Nyanza," Stated the vocal City Lawyer.

Ahmednasir has gone ahead to state that if he were to propose for the President on the best suited person to be his Deputy, he would ask him to go for Suba South Member of Parliament, Hon Caroli Omondi.

"If I was to whisper in the right ear of H.E President William Ruto, I would have said MP Caroli Omondi is the right man." Added the SC.

The SC has even dismissed narratives that the people of Suba are not luos, insisting that they are even among the realest of luos.
