DCP Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua has revealed details of his talk with the late Raila Odinga's daughter Winnie odinga just a day after she challenged ODM pact with President William Ruto.
Speaking during a media interview in Embu, Gachagua said his relationship with the late former ODM leader was good noting that their difference were mere politics.
He revealed that he had talked with Winnie and planned to lead a delegation to honour Raila next month.
On Saturday, Winnie confronted his uncle Oburu Odinga after suggesting that the party need to hold another NDC to review the broad-based government.
Early this month, Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka visited Raila's grave in Opoda farm.
Kalonzo, who was accompanied by several leaders and professionals from the Ukambani region, announced plans to make a short stop to pay courtesy to Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o before traveling to Bondo.
Kalonzo lauded residents of Kisumu and Siaya for their warm reception and solidarity with Mama Ida Odinga and the Odinga family.
“We are united in mourning our brother. I spoke to Governor James Orengo, and I can see the people of Kisumu and Siaya have truly welcomed us. Everyone is here to support Mama Ida and the family,” he said
