Mombasa: Laughter As Ruto Reveals Raila's Words About Oburu Before His Death

President William Ruto caused laughter during the late night dinner as the Orange Democratic Movement members were commemorating twenty years since their party came into existence.

During his speech, the president made a move to reveal some crucial matter that the late former Prime Minister honorable Raila Odinga had told him about his brother Senator Oburu Odinga.

Ruto began by making it clear that Raila always made sure his brother was aware and his close confidant on every arrangement he was making with him without exclusion.

"I say so because on every matter that I discussed with Raila Odinga if there was to be a second person, it was Oburu Odinga. 

I remember even when we were discussing this broad-based arrangement he said the first person you must call is Oburu Odinga. ," said President William Ruto.

The president further caused laughter when he said that it was Oburu who was sent to him with a fairly long list of ministries they wanted from the government after entering the broad based government.

"It was Oburu Odinga who came and told me this is the list of ministries we are thinking and it was a fairly long list," added President Ruto.

The president has made such sentiments at a time when Oburu Odinga has been confirmed to be the party leader of ODM taking over from the late brother.
