Pastor Victor Kanyari’s children, Sky and Danny, have travelled to the United Kingdom for a holiday visit to their late mother’s close friend.
The two minors arrived safely and were warmly received, marking a joyful moment after weeks of online debate and family tension.
The children are visiting Shiru Stuart, a longtime friend of the late gospel singer Betty Bayo.
Shiru, who lives in the UK, shared moments from the trip, showing her excitement as she headed to the airport to pick them up.
The reunion was emotional and cheerful, with the children quickly settling into their new surroundings.
Their arrival comes after rumours spread online claiming that Kanyari had delayed signing travel consent documents.
These claims triggered criticism on social media, with many questioning whether the children would be allowed to travel.
The trip has now confirmed that all legal requirements were met and that the visit was approved by all parties involved.
The journey also unfolded against the backdrop of ongoing family disagreements following Betty Bayo’s death.
Her mother recently stated that Betty had separated from her husband, Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash, months before her passing.
Betty’s brother also claimed that the couple were not formally married, adding to the public debate over custody and family matters.
Despite the controversy, the focus during the holiday has shifted to the children’s wellbeing.
Videos from the UK show Sky and Danny relaxed and happy as they spend time with Shiru’s family.
They were seen sharing meals, playing together, and enjoying the festive season in a calm environment.
