"Used Condoms" DCI Finally Reveals What They Found in Businessman’s Bedroom as Suspect Confesses

A harrowing confession from a 28-year-old man has brought new details to light in the brutal killing of businesswoman Eva Rachel Chepkemoi Ruto from Bomet County.

Wesley Koech was detained after reportedly admitting to the fatal stabbing of the 48-year-old mother and grandmother, whose lifeless body was found in her house on September.

While appearing in court, Koech told authorities that he had been romantically involved with Ruto but grew furious after discovering she had other relationships.

He claimed the situation escalated during a heated exchange that ended in violence.

According to investigators, the killing was likely the result of growing tension and repeated confrontations between the two.

The shocking murder has drawn public attention and concern, especially after forensic experts uncovered crucial items from the scene.

Among the findings were used condoms near the bed, suggesting a possible sexual assault before the incident.

With Koech’s assistance, detectives also recovered a suspected murder weapon—a knife—alongside a bloodied towel and a ring believed to belong to the deceased.

Authorities later arrested Koech in Kericho. He now faces murder charges and is undergoing psychological evaluation as investigations proceed.

The tragic death has left the local community reeling, with leaders and residents calling for swift justice and stronger efforts to combat intimate partner violence.

Police continue to urge anyone with useful details to come forward as they piece together the full events leading to Ruto’s death.
