“I Faked Miracles and Used Witchcraft to Deceive Followers" – Nairobi Pastor Confesses

Nairobi pastor Musa wa Mungu has confessed to faking miracles and engaging in dark rituals to exploit church followers for financial gain.

Speaking to TUKO Talks, Musa admitted that he once operated within a church network that blurred the line between faith and witchcraft.

Among his most disturbing claims, he revealed that he exhumed a woman’s skull and fabricated a story that a witch doctor had buried it to harm a new church member.

The congregation paid him to “remove” the skull, believing they were being delivered from evil. Musa also admitted using ashes and bones from deceased pastors in staged rituals designed to impress followers and increase his influence.

“I lived in constant fear, believing I was being hunted by the spirits of those we had wronged,” Musa confessed.

His life spiraled further after violent incidents, including an attack by his own twin brother that left him with permanent injuries.

He also lost his marriage, became estranged from his children, and was abandoned by colleagues.

Musa says his turning point came through a series of personal crises, which led him to reevaluate his life.

He now identifies as a reformed preacher, dedicated to exposing manipulative practices within religious spaces and encouraging accountability.

“My journey is a warning and a message of hope,” he says. “It shows not only the harm caused by deception, but also the possibility of change.”

While some of Musa’s claims are difficult to verify, he insists that sharing his story is about truth and helping others recognize manipulation in faith communities.
