"I have Given You 24 hrs To Pay My Dues" Samidoh Confronts Europe Based Promoter Over Payment Delay

Popular Kenyan Mugithi artist Samidoh has ignited public debate after posting a strongly worded message on social media accusing a Europe-based promoter of failing to pay him and allegedly issuing threats over his performance engagements.

The dispute is linked to promoter Mau Rafiki who is widely associated with organizing and hosting Samidoh’s performances across Europe particularly in the Kenyan diaspora entertainment circuit.

According to industry reports and past event promotions, Mau Rafiki has worked closely with the artist in arranging shows abroad especially in Germany and surrounding regions.

In his Facebook post, Samidoh claims he is owed performance fees and issues a 24-hour ultimatum for payment.

“I have given you 24 hours to settle my dues! I am told it’s your norm to steal from artists and threaten them how they will never enter Germany again. On this one you have failed terribly bro, you have to pay my sweat or take my life” the statement reads.

He further escalates the allegations accusing the promoter of exploiting artists and using intimidation tactics during disputes.

The dramatic wording of the message has sparked widespread reactions online with fans and stakeholders in the entertainment industry expressing concern over both unpaid artist fees and the tone of the confrontation.

As of now, Mau Rafiki has not issued a public response to the allegations and the claims remain unverified independently.

Authorities or entertainment industry bodies have not yet commented on the matter.
