Shock as Lady Opens Her Private Prison, Only Arrests Men, Reveals Shocking Reason in Court After Arrest

Residents of Kivumbini estate in Nakuru County are still struggling to come to terms with a bizarre and shocking incident after a 44-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly operating her own private prison.

The dramatic events unfolded over the weekend, leaving many asking in disbelief: “Huyu ndio woman of steel, hii nguvu anatoa wapi?”

According to police reports, the woman allegedly turned her residence into an unofficial detention center beginning December 5, 2025.

Acting with astonishing confidence and authority, she reportedly conducted what witnesses described as “full police-style operations,” arresting dozens of unsuspecting individuals across Nakuru town.

Among those she detained were 36 motorists she accused of driving under the influence of alcohol.

She also rounded up eight young men she labeled as “jaba boys,” accusing them of loitering without purpose.

In a bold nighttime operation along Kanu Street, she allegedly apprehended three suspected thugs whom she accused of attempting to hijack vehicles.

The woman’s self-declared crackdown did not stop there. Nineteen pickpockets were reportedly arrested after she accused them of stealing money meant for weekend “masherehe.”

In what many residents found both shocking and alarming, she went on to detain 98 men accused of assaulting their wives.

Witnesses claim she lectured them sternly, warning that each would receive “56 life sentences” in her private prison.

Neighbours said the woman appeared fearless and highly organized, issuing commands with authority and showing no hesitation. Some initially believed she was a senior police officer or working with law enforcement.

However, police later intervened after receiving multiple reports. Officers rescued the detained individuals and placed the woman under arrest.

Authorities have since launched investigations to establish her mental state, motives, and whether any accomplices were involved.

The incident has sparked widespread debate in Nakuru, with many expressing shock at how far the situation went unnoticed.
