Photos Emerge Of Kenyan Man Who Was Lured Into The Russian Military Before Going Missing

Photos have surfaced of a Kenyan man who disappeared after travelling to Russia, causing concern among his relatives and residents in Uasin Gishu County.

Andrew Kiprono Limo has not contacted his family for months after travelling to Russia, where he had informed them he was going for work.

Six months later, the Uasin Gishu man has not communicated with his loved ones about his condition abroad.

His family members spoke with deep emotion as they appealed to the government, led by William Samoei Ruto, to step in and help bring back their son.

A family in Kipkenyo, Uasin Gishu County, is now living in distress and uncertainty due to the unknown whereabouts of their relative.

Unlike many missing persons cases within the country, Andrew Kiprono Limo disappeared while abroad.

Reports suggest he may have taken part in fighting in Russia, leaving his family uncertain whether he is alive or dead.

His mother, Salome Mibei, broke down as she appealed to the government for support.

She explained that she could barely speak and that she deeply wished to see her son but had not been able to.

She urged the government to assist in bringing her son home whether he was alive or dead, adding that she only wanted answers because she could not sleep and was under great stress.

His grandmother Lucia Cherusi also urged the government to help the family understand what happened to him and asked that their son be returned if he was still alive so they could have peace.

His sister Immaculate Chepkemei said she had been in touch with a soldier who knew her brother but had no information about his current location, noting that he had been told Limo was on the frontline in an area without network coverage.

The family continues to hold prayers with friends and neighbours as they wait and hope for his safe return.
