RIP: Beautiful Photos of Kenyan Househelp Who Died Alongside Her Employer in Saudi Arabia

Photos have emerged of Lornah Chebet, a Kenyan househelp who tragically lost her life in a road accident in Saudi Arabia while working abroad.

A family in Kapsara, Kitale, is mourning Chebet after she died following the horrific crash that occurred while she was travelling with her employer, the employer’s husband, and their two children on their way to Riyadh.

Chebet had moved to Abha in search of a better future and hoped to support her family back home.

However, the journey ended in tragedy when their vehicle was involved in a fatal accident.

Reports indicate that the employer’s husband and one child died instantly at the scene.

Chebet, her employer, and the remaining child were rushed to Al Muzahmiyya General Hospital in critical condition.

Despite medical efforts, Chebet later succumbed to her injuries.

The four-year-old child also passed away while receiving treatment.

The heartbreaking news reached her family in Kenya through social media, leaving them devastated.

Her sister, Mercy Jepkemoi, confirmed her death in an emotional TikTok video, revealing that Chebet was the fourth-born in a family of six.

She expressed deep grief and called for strength as the family struggles to cope with the loss.

Plans are now underway to repatriate Chebet’s body to Kenya for burial.

In her home village, neighbours and friends have described her as a hard-working and determined young woman who left the country with hopes of transforming her family’s life.

The tragedy has left two families mourning—one in Saudi Arabia and another in Kenya—as they come to terms with the devastating loss of loved ones in a single accident.
