RIP: Beautiful Photos Of Kakamega Principal Who Was Found Dead After Being Abducted

Beautiful photos have emerged of Caroline Khamete, the principal of Kakamega County Polytechnic, who was found dead in Kisumu after being abducted in broad daylight.

She had been reported missing for several days before her body was discovered on Friday, March 27.

Governor Fernandes Barasa expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and urged authorities to investigate.

He said that he received the shocking news of Khamete’s death with great sorrow and regret.

He added that until her untimely death, she had served as the principal of Kakamega County Polytechnic and that the circumstances of her death were under police investigation.
Khamete began her career with the county administration in 2015, first serving as principal of Matioli County Polytechnic before being transferred to Kakamega.

She was widely admired for her commitment to technical education and for mentoring students, especially those who had previously dropped out of formal schooling.

Governor Barasa also highlighted her dedication to promoting technical education.

He noted that Khamete played a key role in mentoring trainees sponsored by the county government in collaboration with development partners.

He said she showed remarkable understanding and compassion to students who had previously left school, transforming their lives through guidance and support.

Her sudden death has left colleagues, students, and the local community in mourning

Police and state investigators are probing the circumstances of her disappearance and death, and authorities have appealed to anyone with information to come forward.
Khamete’s legacy is remembered for her dedication, mentorship, and lasting impact on education in Kakamega County.
