"We Have To Be Realistic" Kalonzo Goes Bare-knuckle Against Raila's Brother, Opposes His Canaan Plan

Kalonzo Musyoka has come out again and talked in simple words about how Raila Odinga is changing his story.

During a talk shared in #PDUpdates, Kalonzo said that his friend, Oburu Odinga, reminded him about how Raila used to speak before.

Long time ago, Raila would tell people that they are going straight to Canaan. That was his big promise. He said that if they work hard and stick together, they will reach success. The promise was simple, clear, and full of hope.

Kalonzo said that now things are looking different. He said Raila is in a hurry to make deals with William Ruto.

Because of this, Raila is changing his words. He no longer says we are going straight to Canaan. Now he says we are going to Canaan “via Singapore.”

Kalonzo used this joke to show that politics is getting complicated. He means that when you try to make quick deals with powerful people, it is not the same as the simple promise before. It can confuse people and make the path longer or harder.

Kalonzo also said that we must be realistic in politics. People and leaders should know that big promises do not always happen the way they were said. Quick deals and shortcuts may not give the results everyone expects.

Things need careful planning, patience, and honesty. Leaders must explain clearly what is happening so that people do not feel tricked or confused. He also said that keeping promises and being consistent is very important.

If a leader changes words too fast, supporters may start to doubt him. People may ask if the first promise was real or just talk.

Kalonzo wants leaders to balance their dreams with reality. Politics is not simple. There are rivals, challenges, and surprises everywhere.

In the end, Kalonzo’s words were funny but also serious. He showed the difference between the old promises and the new words. He reminded leaders and citizens to stay realistic, calm, and prepared.

The road to Canaan may not be straight or easy, and people must understand that now things are more complicated than before.
