Luo Nation Told to Brace for Major Political Shift After Mudavadi’s Remarks

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi started a new political conversation when he told people in Western Kenya to work together and plan ahead for a possible Luhya president after President William Ruto steps down.

At a community involvement meeting in Navagara, Malava Constituency, Mudavadi said that the area has a big political chance, but only if everyone works together to support Ruto in 2027.

He said that ensuring Ruto a second term is the best and smartest way for Western Kenya to take over in 2032.

"We need to arrange ourselves so that we can take over from Ruto when his two terms are up. Others are also making plans and staying alert. We need to be alert and work together," Mudavadi said.

Mudavadi said that political success won't come to anyone easily and that other parts of the country are quietly planning their own ways to get to State House.

He also said that Ruto's opponents, especially former Interior CS Fred Matiang'i, were attacking the President instead of playing productive politics.

After what he said, everyone is excited to see how Luo Nyanza and other areas respond to this bold succession pitch.
